Sadly most gardening tips are not all under one cover The best place is to research online or go to the library
The PBI do arrange off inexpensive books That cover the gardening year with suggestions and you can make notes They make good diary’s so you can look back through the years and compare your own notes

You might also want to check out "The Complete Vegetable & Herb Garden" by the Burpee Seed Company. It’s a great book for beginners and is very comprehensive with regards to pictures and information about the vegetables (and herbs.)

You can see if your local library has a copy or Amazon.com has it both new and used.

I bought my husband The Vegetables Gardeners Bible by Edward C Smith from Waterstones priced £20.00

We have both used it and it is very good – had a lovely crop this year.

has lots of text and pictures. It is a DK book so very esy to read and follow with good picture demo.

The vegetable & herb expert . This book will tell you all you need to know and you can buy it at most garden centers for about £5 or £6 . Hope this helps.
